SEVERE Pain...

Can we say "OUUUCCHHH!?!" I have been having severe pain on the right side of my jaw for about 2 weeks now and I was just kinda blowing it off...taking ibuprofen like its my job! Well I was thinking and then thought...oh wait, at my last dentist check-up, they said that they could see ONE wisdom tooth growing in and it was my bottom right one. DING DING DING, I have found the source of the pain! I even think that the pain is the reason that I threw up the other night. I woke up with a pounding headache which in turn turned into a stomach ache and so on. Now, I must say, I'm VERY scared to go to the oral surgeon because I was home when my sister had hers out and seeing all that blood drip out of her mouth totally disgusted me! I have an appointment next week Friday and I'm praying that I only need this one out. But who knows! Ok people, here is your cue to tell me that its not THAT bad and I shouldn't be scared.... ;)

Oh bless your heart Amy! OUCH is right! But hey..... it's not that bad....My husband..... (remember he's a man, and for the record, men cannot handle pain very well!!!)...had all 4 removed the same day and he was in pain for a couple of days....but that was it....his were completely impacted. He was under general anesthesia for the hour long surgery. Slept through the whole ordeal! He did have cute chipmunk cheeks for a couple of weeks! His advice would be: *ask for pain meds, *sleep as much as possible and *milkshakes are your best friend!!!
One more thing........ OMW do I love the PINK???? OH YES! My absolute favorite color! Love it- love it- love it! Your blog looks fabulous! I think I need to pay that talented "Blog Fairy" a visit as well!
Take care!!!

Denice is right. It really is not that bad. I had all four out at the same time (do it that way if you can). Make sure they put you under. Honestly when I woke up, I thought "Oh no, I'm awake and they haven't done it yet" but then I saw a little blood on my gown and the nurse told me it was all over. Make sure you have someone to take care of you for a least a day or two. The pain pills they give you are awesome. Don't worry. I waited too long before having mine done and the wisdom teeth pushed my lower teeth together so now they are crooked. They used to be perfectly straight. that was kind of a bummer.
